Brenda is a California native, growing up in Santa Cruz and attending UC Berkeley where she majored in Art History. Her appreciation of visual storytelling and trends led her to creative production and direction for a variety of brands including Vox, WSJ magazine, Bloomberg, Time, Marie Claire, and Men’s Health. She launched and served as the founding photo editor of Style.com as well as served as Executive Director of Photography at Refinery29, working across branded and editorial teams.
Shoots she has produced and directed have been honored by The Clio Awards, American Photography, Photo District News, and The Society of Publication Designers.
